This 70-songs retrospective spans her entire Columbia recording career (1933-1958), including her best loved songs and many rarities: 3 previously unreleased songs: including 2 airchecks from "Camel Caravan" with Benny Goodman, and the song "Saddest Tale" from the "Symphony In Black" soundtrack with Duke Ellington; 7 previously unreleased alternate takes; her incredible performance of "Fine And Mellow" from the famous 1957 "Sound Of Jazz" telecast. 60 page accompanying booklet includes rare photos, and other memorabilia, and insightful liner notes from authority Michael Brooks. All songs have been newly digitally remastered using the CEDAR SOUND RESTORATION SYSTEM.
