General notes about this release (please note: our version may differ a little. see the comments above):
Split release with elaborately hand-decorated sleeve on the Eeyore Gas Guzzler side, with rubber-stamped name, collage items, photos, stickers, assorted debris, etc. with a silver Eerie Materials "Promote the Spirit of Chaos" address sticker.
The Caroliner side of the sleeve is printed in blue (with CAROLINER reading vertically at left), usually with added marks in yellow highlighter. See Images.
Issued on black [this or dark red vinyl.
and The Eerie Materials catalog lists this release as Eeyore Ass Guzzler / Caroliner split 7", described as "Monsters of contorted country mayhem unite for an assault on the senses".
There are no markings for A or B-sides or for speed. (This appears to be deliberate).
Issued with a folded double-sided insert with artwork and contacts for both bands.
Includes a small catalog insert for Eerie Materials (Eeyore Power Tool/Kingdom Scum's own label).
The Caroliner side is sometimes credited to "Caroliner Rainbow Tongue On The Fingermill Of The Paste Demon", but the band is clearly referred to as Caroliner on both the sleeve and insert (credits and address).
Both tracks appear to have been recorded in the 1980s: the insert states:
"Wrap Your Rattler, Bring Your Coat" or The Bringing Of Electricity To Monclova County ... © & ℗ Kind Cataracts 1983 [and
"Broken Fence Of The Battered And Buried" Rec. in 87.
Both sides end in locked grooves.
A. Eeyore Power Tool - Broken Fence Of The Battered And Buried
B. Caroliner - "Wrap Your Rattler, Bring Your Coat" or The Bringing Of Electricity To Monclova County
