Production Screenplay by Paul Osborn Adapted from the play "South Pacific" by Richard Rodgers, Oscar Hammerstein II and Joshua Logan based on "Tales Of The South Pacific" by James A. Michener. Originally produced on the Stage by Richard Rodgers, Oscar Hammerstein II, Leland Hayward and Joshua Logan A 'New Orthophonic' Hi Fidelity 33⅓ RPM Recording. RCA Records London An 8 page booklet is incorporated into the gatefold sleeve, and not as a separate item as in some other releases. Also, unusually for gatefold sleeves, the record is removed from the centre inside of the gatefold ie you have to open the whole thing like a book in order to get the record out. Advertised as a new release in "Twenty-seven more Decca-group stereo LP records...", Gramophone magazine, November 1958.
