Boxsets: The Ultimate Collector's Experience

Museum pass expired? Bring a bit of extra culture into your home: a great boxset is the crème de la crème for the true collector. Think bonus material, extra artwork, beautiful booklets, multiple audio carriers combined: every release is unique! Once associated mainly with dusty Deutsche Grammophon boxes of classical music in thrift stores or grandma’s attic, today you can find a boxset in almost every genre – from Amy Winehouse to Frank Zappa. For inspiration, we’ve highlighted a special selection from our current collection.

Warp Records: Pioneer in Indie and Electronica

One of the coolest labels in the indie/electronica scene is undoubtedly Warp Records. The Sheffield-based Warp already gained a legendary reputation in the early '90s with artists like Autechre, Aphex Twin, and LFO, and served as an early adopter of IDM avant la lettre. Warp is also home to our beloved Boards Of Canada! Given that this Scottish duo has released their long-awaited fifth studio album for the first time in 13 years, we thought it was a good idea to put this label in the spotlight!

WXAXRXP30 (10x12" + Box, Comp, Ltd)

This impressive 10-record boxset was released to celebrate Warp’s 30th anniversary, featuring artists like Aphex Twin, Boards Of Canada, Bibio, Mount Kimbie, and Oneohtrix Point Never. In addition to 10 LPs, it also includes 8 art prints and 10 stickers! Grab it!

Aphex Twin - Drukqs (2x12" + 2xLP + Box, Album)

The holy grail of Aphex Twin releases suddenly appeared in a collection, and with a ‘joyful’ pain in our hearts, we’re letting it go – a unique release, worth it just for the beautiful Avril 14th! Get this one too!

Flying Lotus - You're Dead! (2xLP, Album, 180 + 2xLP, 180 + Box, Ltd)

Steven Ellison, better known as Flying Lotus, nephew of none other than John Coltrane, is not easy to pigeonhole. Neither is his music, which is why there’s a boxset for a little more space! Featuring artists like Kendrick Lamar and Snoop Dogg. Nice!
