Ash Ra Tempel
Ash Ra Tempel was a German krautrock band from Berlin, formed in 1970 by guitarist Manuel Göttsching, drummer Klaus Schulze and bassist Hartmut Enke. Their music was characterized by long, improvised compositions blending psychedelic rock with electronic elements. With albums such as “Ash Ra Tempel” and “Join Inn”, Ash Ra Tempel left a mark on the German experimental scene. An interesting fact is that in 1973 the band collaborated with the eccentric artist Timothy Leary, who, after escaping the US, joined them in Switzerland to record the album “Seven Up”.
