American band Blind Melon rose to fame in the early ’90s with their blend of alternative rock and folk. Their debut album featuring "No Rain" made Blind Melon instantly famous, thanks in part to the iconic “bee girl” video. Later albums like "Soup" revealed a rawer, more experimental side of the group. A lesser-known fact is that singer Shannon Hoon provided backing vocals on Guns N’ Roses’ track "Don’t Cry".
