American pianist and singer Fats Domino was one of the founding figures of rock and roll. With his warm voice and upbeat piano style, Fats Domino created timeless hits like "Blueberry Hill", "Ain’t That a Shame" and "I’m Walkin’". His music bridged rhythm and blues with early rock. A lesser-known fact is that he sold more records than any other artist on Imperial Records but rarely toured outside the US because of his fear of flying.
