"Although he worked widely in film and television, this obscure British electronic composer / multi-instrumentalist (a staple with John Peel until the advent of punk), is perhaps known only to wider audiences for his collaboration on Pink Floyd's "Atom Heart Mother". In this, his 1967 solo debut, the contents range from bizarre audio, to blistering freeform banjo, traditional jazz arrangements, and spoken interludes.
