Recorded October 15, 1971 at Long Beach Civic Auditorium, Long Beach, California, and October 17, 1971 at Pasadena Civic Auditorium, Pasadena, California. Remixed at Ardent Recording Studio, Memphis, Tennessee. "These tapes were mixed from the live recordings without any overdubbing of instruments or vocals. The only alterations were in omitting certain songs because of time lengths." Track D0 is listed on the back cover, but unlike all other tracks, is not assigned a number. Issued in a gatefold sleeve.
