1976 "Country Flag" Obi / EAS re-issue series of the Beatles Japanese LP catalog. Issue n° 12 in the series, with UK flag obi.
Disc/Label info:
-Lighter green Apple label.
-Uses a UK master as identified by matrix stamp
Packaging info:
-Apple andJapan EMI text at the lower left back corner.
-Includes Japanese/English bio-lyric sheet insert.
-Obi states ¥2,500, list of titles in series on back side.
-Earlier pressings came with black inner sleeve, later pressings clear rice-paper sleeve.
-Some copies imported to North America may have come with an "Imported Japan" Capitol-EMI sticker (see photo)
-Has the same design and track listing as U.K. release.
-Maxwell's Silver Hammer is listed as the second track and Something is listed as the third one on the back cover, should be the other way around.
