Also the etching in Side 3 has a scribbled out character in between the '1's Side A, B2 and C3 originally issued on "Thelonious Monk and John Coltrane" (Jazzland #46). Balance of sides B and C originally issued on "Monk's Music" (Riverside #242). D1 originally issued on "Thelonious Himself" (Riverside #235). D2 originally issued as the title track of Riverside #243, an anthology. Side A probably recorded Spring, 1958. Side B and C recorded June 26, 1957. D1 recorded April 16, 1957.
