Coil
British group Coil, formed in 1982 by John Balance and Peter Christopherson, became a key figure in experimental and industrial music. With albums like "Horse Rotorvator" and "Love’s Secret Domain", Coil pushed boundaries with their dark and mystical sound. Their work often carried a spiritual and occult edge that set them apart in the underground scene. A lesser-known fact is that Coil once composed music for Clive Barker’s film Hellraiser, but their score was ultimately not used in the movie.
