This single was made available in an exclusive offer to the readers of the NME music paper issue dated, October 12th, 1991. The details printed were as follows (edited): "Hey you! Skinny! If you can just tear your gaze away from the footwear for one moment, have a butchers at this once-in-a-lifetime offer, brought to you by NME and Dedicated Records. There are 3,000 copies of a very limited edition Chapterhouse single...'Falling Down' recorded live in London in September - unavailable elsewhere, natch - backed up by 'Junk Male' another live track by 5:30 and 'Outshine The Sun' by The Belltower (also live)...So to nab your copy, all you have to do is cut out the coupon below and be among the first 100 punters to present it each night at the T-shirt stall on any of the live dates from Cardiff to Colne."

Track A recorded at The Marquee on 3rd September 1991 as part of 'Yamaha Band Explosions' concerts along with Slowdive & Moose.
Track B1 recorded at The Marquee on 4th September 1991 as part of 'Yamaha Band Explosions' concerts along with Manic Street Preachers, Catherine Wheel and Intastella.
Track B2 live recording venue unknown.

A side plays at 45 RPM, B side plays at 33 1/3 RPM.

Issued in a generic black die-cut sleeve.
