The banding on side one is confusing. The Griffes Sonata is in one movement played without pauses, yet there appears to be three bands on side one. Basically these just represent short pauses between sections, not movement breaks. The fact the the album lists timings for TWO tracks only confuses matters further. On side 2, what appears to be a band in the middle of the one-movement Ives Sonata is only the result of the change in sound density.
