Infosheet:

Where Kiki and Lee Van Dowski could just do what they wanted with their tracks for BPitch Control Collective 1, Chloé and Sascha Funke had some self-imposed rules attached, which they settled on after a pretty short time of consideration:

Each of them has to look for an unfinished track in his/her “not done yet”-folder, that the other one has to finish withouth alteration of what’s already there - length, plug-ins, beats and lines have to be kept in their original version.

But because Chloé and Sascha have known each other for quite a long time already, played together regularly and, most of all, admire each other, this wasn’t that hard of a task. Rather a challenge than a bondage. Trying to catch the other ones vision, style... and to get involved with the own style. Something between a remix and a collaboration.

“Point Final” (straight techno) and “Hand In Hand” (dub, deep) are therefore 2 tracks, that, so to say, were being cut by the one, coated with breadcrumbs by the other one, thrown into the pan by the one, arranged on a plate by the other one .... Bon appetit!
