Hierbij nog wat info, die niet tot weinig bekend is: Ferry Maat lanceerde een mixwedstrijd en de BVD “bond van doorstarters” en daardoor ontstond het idee van deze mix en is ook “bond van deurstarters” ontstaan. En….ongelooflijk maar echt waar: we hebben met dit lied zelfs ’n keer live in de soulshow gezeten, volgens mij ergens in februari of maart 1988 toen de TROS live uitzendingen had vanaf de veerboot van Vlissingen naar Sheerness en Martijn Krabbe moest invallen voor Ferry Maat.
