"Et la Vie l'emporta" is a work (Cantate) by Frank Martin that was commissioned by the company Zyma SA.
It is to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the company (1900-1975).
The gate-fold sleeve contains notes and sung-texts in French only.
Some copies come with an LP sized insert with a german translation.
The recordings of pianist Alfred Cortot have been reproduced with the kind permission of EMI Records, London.
