"It Was A Night" was originally recorded by Scottie Stuart (MMC 45-006) and re-recorded by the Beack-Niks (Sea-Mist 45-1001 and MMC929M-008).

This 45 version by the Go Go Gorillas is a radically alternate mix from the version on New England Teen Scene-The Next Generation CD (Arf Arf AA-044) released in 1994.

Note: The backing band on the A-side is the Incredible Casuals.
