Some albums were released in multiple versions (pressings). There is the first pressing, which can be very valuable to collectors. When that stock runs out, a new pressing is made, called a repress or re-issue. These are often slightly different, such as a different sleeve or heavier vinyl.
Sometimes older albums are remastered, improving the sound quality. A new pressing is made for this as well. Differences in artwork or small production errors can also make a specific version more attractive.
What makes the difference in price?
For records that are not new, the market value is determined by scarcity and the condition of both the record and the sleeve. Pricing is based on supply and demand, and whether a version is limited or numbered.
Which variant should I choose?
If it’s mainly about the music, a repress is a good choice. An original or numbered edition has a different kind of appeal.
Including tax.

General notes about this release (please note: our version may differ a little. see the comments above):
In Memory Of - Steve Gadd, Andy Matthews, Michael Mule and Pip King.
Issued with a wide spine triple gatefold cover and hype sticker on foil stating :
"Exclusive to HMV / 180g Red & Black Triple Marbled Vinyl / Includes The Writing on the Wall and Stratego
0190296718632"
Despite the sticker stating it was exclusive to HMV, this release was actually sold by numerous other retailers as well as the official Iron Maiden web store.
Assai Records sold this same pressing of Red/Black Marbled vinyl and added a numbered obi strip. Limited to 300.
The inner gatefold artwork continues on the interior sections of the pockets.
Discs are held in picture/lyric/credits inner sleeves. These inner sleeves have a soft sheen finish on the text side and are high gloss on the picture side.
Discs are translucent.
The package comes in shrink-wrap. Applied to the shrink-wrap are a hype sticker at the front and a barcoded sticker to the back.
Tracks are numbered sequentially across each individual disc - 1 to 5, 1 to 3 and 1 to 2 respectively.
Track times are incorrect, however they are what's written on the release (on the lyric sheet beside the writing credits below each song title). They seem to be the result of the record company timing the songs from vinyl on a turntable that was slightly too slow.
