Julian Rachlin plays the Cremona "ex Carrodus" of 1741, a violin made by Joseph Guarnerius del Gesù; loaned to him by the Austrian National Bank.

Recorded at Heinz Hall, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, September 26 & 27, 1992.
For this recording 20-bit technology was used for "high definition sound".
