This time though, he surprises us with a small pop jewel! But "Lonely Hearts" is not a classic pop song; it is much more Joakim's interpretation of one. A catchy tune, which does not want to be one. An exciting contrast between catchiness and a bleeping onslaught. In addition to the album version and the radio edit, the "Lonely Hearts Maxi" also features the "Loving Hand" remix by Tim Goldsworthy. The musician (LCD Soundsystem) and label owner (DFA Records) skillfully pulls "Lonely Hearts" to the left, brushing it into a dark club track.
