General notes about this release (please note: our version may differ a little. see the comments above):

Recorded at Rudy Van Gelder Studio in Englewood, NJ on March 3, 1963. After this session, John Coltrane went back into the studio to dub more saxophone accompaniment. This issue is that "overdubbed" master, featuring more saxophone fills on three songs.

Issued with an 11"x11" printed insert for "Acoustic Sounds Series", and on the plastic outer are 2 stickers - circular "60 impulse!" and rectangular "Acoustic Sound Series". Vinyl is housed in a plain rice paper inner sleeve.
