General notes about this release (please note: our version may differ a little. see the comments above):
There is a "boxed" section on the back liner with a picture of a Bouzouki and text indicating that the Bouzouki played on the LP was made "...especially for the Kingston Trio by George Atanasiou of New York.".
The liner notes indicate that the songs on this LP "...have been especially adapted for this album by the Kingston Trio.". As these are primarily "traditional" songs, I have used "Adapted By" for the individuals linked with the track list on the labels. The exceptions are A2 and A3 where arranging credit is noted on liner and B6 where I believe the only possible writing credit would be [a57629. [a468451 was a folklorist and musicologist. He collected and recorded folk music. [a1998741 was also a folklorist who, through her work with the WPA's Federal Writer's Project, along with [a468452 (Sr.) collected Southern folklore (including music). She worked in Sumpter County, SC where [a57629 lived.
Runouts are stamped with the exception of the etched "#".
