Beta Foly is a 12-piece band from Abidjan, originally formed for a workshop with Ligeti and Dahlke. This album was recorded three years after the initial workshop, with Beta Foly playing together between Ligeti's and Dahlke's visits.
Recorded September/October 1996 at Studios Séquence, Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
