General notes about this release (please note: our version may differ a little. see the comments above):

Even though this is the release for the 1979 edition, the cover has the title as "Jazz Hoeilaart '80". Correct title on rear sleeve, no date at all on the labels.

The release collects recordings by the winners of the annual jazz contest organized by Albert Michiels in collaboration with the city council of Hoeilaart and BRT 1. The jury of 1979 consisted of Etienne Verschueren, Armand Van de Walle, Elias Gistelinck and Nicolas Fissette. The first graduate were Milkshake Banana.

Title A3 misspelled as "Forn." on sleeve.
