Da 5 Bloods is a critically acclaimed 2020 American war drama film directed by Spike Lee. It stars Delroy Lindo, Jonathan Majors, Clarke Peters, Johnny Trí Nguyễn, Norm Lewis, Isiah Whitlock Jr. The film's plot follows a group of aging Vietnam War veterans who return to the country in search of the remains of their fallen squad leader, as well as the treasure they buried while serving there. The musical score for Da 5 Bloods was written by multiple Grammy Award winner Terence Blanchard. Blanchard opted for a 90-piece orchestra in the room in order to accentuate the emotion. “Terence is a great jazz musician and band player. He brings that wealth of understanding of what music does with colors, shapes, and feeling.” said Spike Lee in an interview with Variety magazine. We can't argue on that, as this is an incredible piece of music.
