General notes about this release (please note: our version may differ a little. see the comments above):
Overgrown Tales' is The Crooked Fiddle Band's debut album, giving their dark, ecstatic violin-led tunes a cinematic, narrative edge. Captured raw and live by renowned engineer Steve Albini at his Electrical Audio studios in Chicago, the album ranges from the band's trademark violin creaks and squeals underpinned by an acoustic punk rhythm section to dark, haunting melodies that make up the overgrown tales of the title.
