General notes about this release (please note: our version may differ a little. see the comments above):

"The duo was invited by Ellington in 1969 to play the Suite at a memorial concert in New York's Lincoln Center to establish a scholarship in Strayhorn's name at Julliard.
All the other selections recorded here were suggested by Strayhorn as good vehicles for the piano-horn combination and were recorded under intimate conditions in Hollywood, 1970-'71."
