Syrian Oud \ Indian Harmonium \ Romanian Bazouki German Violoncello \ Bechstein Upright Piano \ Acoustic Double Bass Gretch, legend & Premier \ Drumkits \ Glockenspiel Bamboo Flute \ Trumpet \ Flugelhorn & Tablas. These analogue recordings were made at Woodhouse Studios in Leeds using a 16 track tape machine and quarter inch tape, between April 1996 & June 1997. 'One For The Shoeshine man' was recorded live to stereo tape at South Parade Baptist Church. Acoustic guitar tracks for 'December 8th 1980' & 'Johannasong' were recorded at Richard's house in the kichen; the background birdsong being picked up on the guitar microphones.
