Originally "More Than Just a Seagull" was composed in 1983 as the soundtrack for a multimedia-performance of Richard Bach's story "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" that took place in Vienna.
This is one of Gandalf's most "natural" music-productions, dominated by the sounds of acoustic guitars, piano, harmonium, tubular bells, windchimes, gongs and other percussions and the legendary Mellotron. Only a few synthesizers were added, no sequencers or computers used.
Special remixed and extended version especially remixed for compact disc at Electric Mind Studio, Austria, including one live track "Sky, Sea And Me" (track 2) an improvisation on acoustic 12 string guitar, recorded live during a concert in Amsterdam on 3rd November 1986.
