Waarom is de ene plaat zoveel goedkoper dan een andere?
Van sommige albums uit het verleden zijn meerdere versies (persingen) gemaakt. Zo is er de eerste persing, die voor echte liefhebbers van grote waarde is. Als die voorraad op is, wordt er opnieuw geperst: een repress of re-issue. Deze verschilt vaak iets van het origineel, bijvoorbeeld door een andere hoes of zwaarder vinyl.
Soms wordt een ouder album opnieuw gemasterd, waardoor het geluid beter wordt. Ook dan wordt er een nieuwe persing gemaakt. Verschillen in artwork of kleine foutjes tijdens een persing kunnen een versie extra aantrekkelijk maken.
Wat maakt het verschil in prijs?
Bij platen die niet nieuw zijn, wordt de marktwaarde bepaald door schaarste en de conditie van de plaat en de hoes. We prijzen op basis van vraag en aanbod en nemen mee of een versie gelimiteerd of genummerd is.
Welke variant kies ik?
Als het om de muziek gaat, kies je voor een repress. Een origineel of genummerde variant heeft een andere soort aantrekkingskracht.

General notes about this release (please note: our version may differ a little. see the comments above):
This recording is an experiment in composing from percussion first. To feel movement in harmony and arrangement through the improvising senses of a percussionist. The melodic and harmonic elements appeared instantly after recording the percussion with Rama Parwata. The additional Tenor Saxophone of Cheryl Durongpisitkul (Sola) and Bass Clarinet of Flora Carbo (Sfondo and Mondo) were the final touches to bring life into the music. The result is a through-composed work, a narrative starting inside the body and expanding outward into the world and beyond.
Questa registrazione è un esperimento compositivo che parte innanzitutto dalle percussioni. Origine e scopo della composizione è sentire il movimento in armonia e arrangiamento attraverso i sensi improvvisativi di un percussionista. Gli elementi melodici e armonici sono apparsi subito dopo la registrazione delle percussioni con Rama Parwata. L'aggiunta del sassofono tenore di Cheryl Durongpisitkul (Sola) e del clarinetto basso di Flora Carbo (Sfondo e Mondo) sono stati il tocco finale per dare vita alla musica. Il risultato è un'opera composta, una narrazione che inizia all'interno del corpo e si espande verso l'esterno, nel mondo e oltre.
