M (Mint) – Onbespeeld, nog verzegeld in originele verpakking.
NM (Near Mint) – Enkele keren gedraaid, geen fouten; hoes vrijwel als nieuw.
VG+ (Very Good Plus) – Lichte gebruikssporen, speelt uitstekend; hoes met minimale slijtage.
VG (Very Good) – Duidelijk gebruikt, hoorbare ruis of tikjes; hoes met slijtage.
G (Good) – Veel afgespeeld, storende ruis mogelijk; hoes met duidelijke beschadiging.
Generic – Originele hoes is verloren, dus de plaat komt in een generieke binnenhoes.

Using John Cage’s slogan “New Music: New Listening” as it's mantra, Polyphonix 1 is a compilation of 27 poets from both Europe and the United States, collected at poetry festivals held during 1979 to 1981. Originally released as a co-production of Cramps Records, John Giorno’s “Giorno Poetry Systems” and Association Polyphonix in 1982. Published by Multhipla Records.
